A1 Moto started to experience Hardware failures with their existing Server. These issues were due to age and although Ability IT had successfully kept the existing server functioning, allowing the business to carry on as normal the decision was made to replace it. The Installation and Migration of Applications to the New Server needed to be done without Downtime or interruption to the business and they wanted to take the opportunity and migrate their on-premise email services to Microsoft Office 365.
Solution
Ability IT supplied and installed a new Windows Server on reliable HP Hardware giving A1 Moto increased performance and allowing for additional expandability to meet their future requirements. Ability IT supervised the migration of the third party application over to the new environment. Ability IT also installed new Backup Software giving very quick recovery times, also carrying out a migration of their email services from the local server to Hosted Email using Microsoft Office 365. Ability IT also replaced other aging Hardware such as the fast Ethernet Switches replacing them with Gigabit Devices.
